44 men, women and children attended our 28th annual strawberry night. The stated meeting opened so that necessary bills could be read and approved as were the minutes from the previous meeting. Our District Deputy was properly received. Following the short business meeting there was a Vote of Confidence extended to our Senior Warden so that he may plan for a successful 2010. Having completed our duties the District Deputy was presented the gavel and Lodge was closed in ample form. Our guests were invited into the lodge room where the Worshipful Master welcomed all. He then had WB Woods presented at the altar and informed everyone about he being selected as the recipient of the Grand Master’s Community Service Award. He was presented the award at a recent reception honoring our Grand Master. What a wonderful acknowledgment of the accomplishments of our distinguished brother. Brother Foore a member of Mid-Century lodge was then presented as our speaker and he presented a very interesting program on the 47th Problem of Euclid. His presentation showed how Pythagoras’s theorem tied into Deity, Symbols and Masonry which is so indelibly imprint on our mind the roots of Freemasonry. Following the presentation an abundance of Strawberry shortcake was served and great fellowship was enjoyed by all. Â
